The Bruce Remembers website is a memorial site that includes names of individuals, with a connection to Bruce County, who served in a military capacity during war time or peace, with more detailed information being added as it becomes available. In addition, images of items from the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre’s Collection enhances the profiles of individuals. Our Local Heroes section includes individuals about whom a large amount of material is available within the Collection. It is important to us to keep this site up to date so if an individual has been missed or you have information that would enhance the site, please contact us as we value all input.
We would like to acknowledge the Bruce County Public Library for their foresight in creating the original website and assisting us with the redevelopment. We would like to thank all the Bruce County Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion who have worked with us over the years.
Special thanks to the staff, volunteers and the Bruce County Historical Society, who have all contributed in making this website a reality.
