Bruce Remembers

The Bruce Remembers website includes names of individuals, with a connection to Bruce County and the local First Nation communities, who served in a military capacity during war time or peace, with more detailed information being added as it becomes available.  Links to images of items from the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre’s Collection enhances individual profiles. The Local Heroes section includes individuals about whom a larger amount of material is available within the Collection.

We would like to acknowledge the Bruce County Public Library for their foresight in creating the original virtual memorial website.

We also thank all the Bruce County Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion who have worked with us over the years.

Special thanks to the staff, volunteers and the Bruce County Historical Society, who have all contributed in making this website, launched in 2015, a reality.
